I finally completed my daughter's quilt. I found the pattern on Pinterest. It is called Candy Girl from the Janelle Wind Collection. This quilt took me a very long time. It was a lot of hand stitching, every flower and petal. I changed the border a little by adding strips of colors. It is very bright. My only complaint is it turned out a funny size. Instead of a regular twin size it is really short. It is somewhere between a throw and a twin at 52" x 66.5".
I also used Minky on the back. It costs more but it makes the blanket so soft and the kids love it. I used it on my son's baby blanket also. I expect these blankets to last a very long time. Two kids down, two to go. I have the fabric for the next quilt and this one will probably be for a double bed. Pattern also seen on Pinterest.
Everything from crafts to kids to farming to cooking and everything in between.

Not Enough Time in the Day
I feel like such a slacker, but having a baby really does limit your time. While I was pregnant I was bored and had so much time for crafts, but after the baby came I instantly needed another 10 hours in the day. Not sure why since she does sleep a lot right now, but I don't seem to get anything done.
While I may not be blogging I will always be working on crafts. My entire goal for creating is to someday be able to have enough product for a craft show. Unfortunately I keep starting all kinds of different projects. Part of it is my amazement that I can actually be good at all of these things and the other part is getting bored and wanting to try new things. Pinterest is such a bad influence for me.
My main concerns right now are my children and losing weight. These have to come first before crafting. I have 3 children at home everyday now that school has started. They are currently 4, 3 and 7 weeks. So they need a lot of attention. I am also very motivated to lose my excess weight. I have decided to start a new blog to document my progress, since I love reading other people's blogs for motivation. I will update when I have the site set up.
Between homeschooling the preschoolers, exercising, meals and the infant I seem to have no time left. Someday I will be able to finish my projects, but not today :(
Here it is: http://justdoit-already.blogspot.com/ Still a work in progress, but I have begun my journey!
