I realize I have not been posting as often but I am getting down to the end of my pregnancy and projects are moving a lot slower. I have a list of stuff to be cleaned and finished before baby, so I work a little bit on each one everyday. I have two quilts that I can't wait to display and I've been nagging my husband to finish the kitchen and the swing set for the kids.
Yesterday I started on my baby announcements. I used Baby Steps cartridge and inspiration from My Critter Creations. I just loved her card and it looked easy enough to make in large quantities. I made 20 yesterday and will make another 20 today. After she's born I will print off her stats and insert a picture.
The buggy was cut at 3" and I used pop dots to make it stick out a little. Unless you were doing a large cut the nose is nearly impossible to cut so I used a pen to draw it on and chalk for the cheeks. I am also unsure why they combined some of the layers. For instance the purple hood, wheels and the dark pink are all one layer but are meant to be different colors. So I had to waste paper and time cutting out all three shapes in purple and dark pink. I attempted to use the CCR to delete the shapes but it was not acting right yesterday.
